Nike SNKRS Showcase
Nike has big plans for this year, 2024 (and the year after). On 20 June 2024, the expected sneaker releases for the coming seasons were shown at the Nike SNKRS Showcase. Earlier this year, Nike showed some of the releases we could expect for 2024, including the Nike Air 180 and the Clogposite.
Now we can look forward to a second round. The line-up consists of over 30 silhouettes, including the Air Flightposite, Air Foamposite One, modified versions of the Air Zoom Spiridon and a Gore-Tex® variant of the Nike Air Max SNDR. The Total 90 III SP football shoe also returns, with lifestyle modifications.
In addition, the Air Max TL 2.5 is making its comeback. The 2000s silhouette has a sporty look and shares elements of silhouettes like the Air Max 97. The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 arrives in two, eye-catching colorways.
Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Escape'
But perhaps the most striking release shown at the SNKRS Showcase was the Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Escape'. The iconic colorway takes inspiration from the 1988 Nike Air Force III 'Escape'. In 2005, the colorway appeared on the Nike Air Force 1. A match made in heaven!?
Earlier this year, BAPE founder Nigo appeared with the Air Force III in the iconic colorway. Now it seems Nike will return the Air Force 1 Low 'Escape' in 2025, 20 years after its original release. The sneaker follows the release of the Air Force 1 Low 'Linen', which made its comeback earlier this year.
The release dates of the sneakers shown vary. The first kicks will appear in the Nike SNKRS app in early autumn 2024. Releases, including the Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Escape', are expected in 2025. As always, the Sneakerjagers release calendar will keep you up to date with all release information!
