Justin Bieber says he spent four years working on the SKYLRK Sensory Runner, and now we finally get a better look at it.
New images show the SKYLRK Sensory Runner up close, in the same black-and-white colourway Bieber first showed in August.
Bieber revealed the sneaker on 17 August via Instagram, wearing the pair himself. After that, things went quiet for a while.
The new close-ups make it clearer how the silhouette is put together, although official details remain scarce for now.

The first thing you notice is the upper. Black, web-like overlays run across a white base in large, irregular shapes.
They curve from the toe towards the heel and leave little room for classic panels. As a result, the design looks like one continuous piece, more fluid than built from separate parts.
The sole is just as striking. Instead of a regular, flat midsole, the shoe sits on a chunky, sculpted sole unit divided into rounded sections from heel to toe.
From the side, it looks as if the sneaker is balancing on a row of small cushions. The contrast between black and white makes those geometric shapes stand out even more. Underneath, you can see a light blue, seemingly translucent layer with wavy lines.

The proportions are bold too. The Sensory Runner has a sturdy, wide stance and clearly belongs in the statement-runner category.
In the Instagram images, Bieber wears the pair himself, and that is exactly where you see how prominent the sole is. Not a subtle sneaker, then.

Four years of fine-tuning
According to Bieber, the Sensory Runner went through four years of adjustments before the design looked like this.
That may explain why the model looks so little like the runners you see in shops. The silhouette borrows running-shoe proportions, but the execution is clearly its own.
SKYLRK itself is still a young brand. The label officially launched in 2025 and has since expanded from clothing and accessories into footwear.
Bieber previously showed chunky slides and foam-like sneaker designs. The SKYLRK Sensory Runner feels like the next step in that line: experimental and outspoken.

What we don't know yet is just as important. SKYLRK hasn't shared materials, cushioning or other technical specifications.
A release date, price and sales channels haven't been announced either. For now, Bieber is sticking to "coming soon".
An EU release date and a price in euros are therefore not yet confirmed. No colourways beyond black and white have been announced.
