Sneakers are no longer what you were used to a few years ago. With brands drifting further apart, hybrid silhouettes taking over, and dress shoes like loafers or Paraboots being more popular than ever, a sneaker has to come from a good pedigree to beat the competition.
And that’s exactly what the Nike Shox R4 ‘Dark Pony’ is.
A sporty sneaker, wrapped in luxury, with an Oxford shoe–like twist. The Nike Shox R4 ‘Dark Pony’ is crafted entirely from deep brown, supple leather. A silver, embossed Nike Shox logo sits proudly on the tongue, while silver studs at the collar add a refined touch.
A turquoise insole provides a fresh contrast. The signature Nike Shox cushioning in the sole comes in an off-white shade that complements the colorway perfectly.
A perfect sneaker that, thanks to its rich appearance, could easily be worn with a suit (if you ask me). It’s not yet known when the Nike Shox R4 ‘Dark Pony’ will be released, but we can expect the pair to drop at Nike sometime in 2025.
