The Nike Air Max 1 has received its own slide. The slide has a striking look and brings some characteristic elements of the Air Max 1 to the design. The model was previously released in a 'Black' and 'Sport Red' colorway. Now Nike is showing the official images of the 'Obsidian' colorway.
The Nike Air Max 1 Slide 'Obsidian' is the perfect slipper for summer. Since the arrival of the Yeezy Slide in 2019, more and more brands seem to be jumping on this trend, including New Balance, Jordan Brand and Nike. The Air Max 1 Slide has adopted the midsole of its predecessor, the Air Max 1.
The upper exists of mesh, leather and suede. The 'Obsidian' colorway is no stranger to Nike and has appeared in the past on models such as the Air Max 1, Dunk High and Air Jordan 1 High. The slide has a white strap with a broken Swoosh on it.
The Nike Air logo is placed on the instep. The outsole and the emblem on the tongue have red accents, which contrast nicely with the dark blue color. The Air unit in the midsole is transparent. The molded footbed provides comfort.
