The New Balance 2002R silhouette is back with a new look, dear community. New Balance fans and those who want to be will soon get to see one of the most interesting collections: the New Balance 'Protection Pack'. What it's all about is what we're talking about here today. Some of the sneakers will be released on 01 July 2021 at 00:00. You can get all the information you need now!
The Pack sneakers come in three colorways that translate to these beautiful names: Rain Cloud, Phantom and Sea Salt. The shoes have suede layers that create a "torn" and abstract effect.
The 2002 silhouette from New Balance was a classic performance running shoe a few years ago. The 2002R variant is now back for street style and comes with a few small updates! With its running shoe look, it totally fits into the current trend and the used look reinforces this.
New Balance M2002 'Protection Pack' - Grey
Of course, there is a grey colorway in the pack. The grey colour is characteristic for the brand.
Like the other sneakers in the pack, the grey look has a deconstructed style. Underneath cut-out suede overlays that have a rough texture comes a breathable mesh base. Other leather elements complete the look.
Another highlight: the 'N' at the end of the laces and at the front of the toe.

The next colorway in black has the same features. The label on the tongue also comes into its own here.
To add to the retro vibe, New Balance has exposed the foam padding on the tongue of their 'Protection Pack', as you can see in the last picture. There is also a perforated layer on the heel.

The white colorway also has a few subtle coloured details on the upper. The 2002R is written in blue and red on the heel and the N at the end of the laces is also blue. Last but not least, the technology in the sole is mentioned, also in red.
The midsole of all sneakers in the New Balance 'Protection Pack' comes with ABZORB and N-ergy cushioning technology. This offers you good comfort and the chunky sole also looks great in its design!
The release information
Do you have a favourite? The kicks from the New Balance 'Protection Pack' will be available on 01 July 2021 at 00:00 for €150. The white and the grey colorways will drop at various shops, including on the Asphaltgold App. If you want to cop the black colorway, you'll have to wait a little longer, but we assume that this look will also hit the shelves at the beginning of July.
