Among all the collaborations that appear online these days, there are occasionally releases that make such a strong impression that they surpass many collabs. The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK 'Neo Synthesis' is one of them.
Just released, and already possibly the best general release of 2025.
The sneaker from the Made in UK series features a subtle color palette, according to New Balance, inspired by industrial landscapes. The upper features a neutral beige base with a mesh upper in a light green shade.
The sneaker has a unique, utilitarian look, finished with premium and synthetic details. Classic branding appears on the tongue, heel, and insole. A light green outsole completes the release.
In my opinion, this is absolutely a release that belongs in the top five general releases of 2025. Now available at New Balance and selected retailers. The release comes alongside the 1500 'Neo Synthesis', which has also already been released.
