Our Sneakerjagers team was in Cologne for our 'Shoes and the City Guide'. We have already explored Amsterdam with the Air Jordan 1, Utrecht with the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow and Rotterdam with the Nike Air Max 90, but that's just by the way. Today we're talking about the street style in Cologne that we captured during our trip.
It's clear that we'll be presenting some of the looks and looking for alternatives for you to shop. Cologne is like a little Berlin. It has the same cool, creative, free and relaxed vibe as the capital, but it's smaller. This ultimately makes for a friendlier and, above all, more amicable atmosphere.
What's more, Cologne is no less stylish than any other big city. And because everyone is so beautifully indifferent to what you wear, you can really let yourself go.
Streetstyle: Cologne is like that
If you like the Air Jordan 1 Mid models, the chances of getting one are even higher. Take a look at our sneaker collection:
If you want to style Leonie's look, you can buy the following items. You can simply cut the T-shirt to the desired height or, if you prefer a less radical look, simply knot it at the front. The shorts here from Weekday are a little more well-behaved than I would have liked, but still represent the look well. If you want to make Leonie's outfit suitable for winter, choose long boyfriend jeans and a puffer jacket from North Face, for example.
The next two we spotted on Cologne's streets happened to be Joshua, who some might know from Love Island, and Pia. He and she caught our eye right away because of their kicks.
Joshua wears a light-coloured T-shirt with a striking graphic print. He combines it with a shoulder bag from MCM and sporty black trousers. His outfit gets the finishing touch with white Balenciaga Triple S Sneakers.
Pia is in a pink two-piece with an oversize jeans jacket in a light wash. She complements her outfit with a small Luis Vuitton in black and Off-White Vulcanized Sneakers in white.
You can also style these two outfits with us now. First find Joshua's version and then find the pieces you can use to create Pia's outfit.
Of course, we saw a lot more cool styles that we don't want to deprive you of. It can be summarised that street style is big here. Baggy trousers and loose T-shirts are popular in Cologne, along with the latest Dunks and Jordans, and your outfit is ready. Varsity jackets, which you can find in almost every vintage shop, are also very trendy.
