This is especially true for sneakerheads and streetwear lovers, we always want to check out what the local market has to offer, don't we? So we collected the best sneaker (and clothing) shops in Amsterdam to make this as easy as possible for you. So if you're a sneakerhead in Amsterdam, this is THE list you need to see the best stores!

1. Solebox

Solebox is a sneaker store originating from Berlin. They have multiple stores in Germany and also one in Amsterdam, Brussels, and Barcelona. The store in Amsterdam is especially worth checking out because of its laboratory-themed interior. It's definitely one of the most unique sneaker shops out there.

2. Oqium

Oqium is a hip basketball boutique with stores in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. They mostly specialize in basketball stuff. In the store, you'll find many different Nike Air Jordans together with other basketball shoes. Besides shoes, they also sell clothes including official NBA gear.

Patta is an Amsterdam-based brand, known for its intriguing collaborations with the likes of Converse, Clarks, Vans, Asics, Parra, and Nike. Luckily for you, one of their 3 stores is in their hometown, Amsterdam. Here they offer apparel and shoes from, obviously Patta, but also Parra, New Balance, Travis x Jordan, Nike, and many more. So it's definitely worth checking out if you're nearby.

2nd Culture is one of the stores that you 100% can't miss as a sneaker or streetwear enthusiast. This resell store offers a wide variety of sneakers, clothing, and accessories from brands like Nike, Supreme, Stussy, Off-White, Bape, and many more!

5. Baskèts

The next sneaker shop in Amsterdam on our list is Baskèts. This store curates various labels like Arcteryx, Arte, Stussy, Olaf, New Balance, Nike, Dr. Martens, their own Baskèts brand, and many many more. If besides sneakers, you're also into streetwear and contemporary fashion, then Baskèts is THE store for you.

Sneaker District is an unmissable name from this list. This store started and has been in Amsterdam since 2010. The shop itself underwent a renovation in 2020 which has seen the location get 3 carousels mounted on the wall and a perforated steel design representing the mesh used in many sneakers. Here you'll find sneakers and clothes from Nike, adidas, New Balance, White Mountaineering, Karhu and many more.

7. Chaptr One

The next entry on our list is a resell and consignment store called Chaptr One. Here you'll find grails that you won't find at many other places, think about Travis Scott x Jordan, Union LA x Jordan, AM1 x Atmos, AM1 x Parra, various Off-White and Supreme models, and much more! So if you're looking for truly special stuff, this is the place to go.

8. Size?

Size? is one of those stores that you just want to go into whenever you walk past because of how nice it looks. You also never know when you'll find amazing deals on products from Nike, Carhartt, New Balance, Stussy, and more!

The next entrant on our list is Maha or Maha Amsterdam. This store caters to an audience that is still sometimes left out or seen as less important in the sneaker and streetwear game, women. Yes, that's right, Maha is a women's exclusive store where they sell a large variety of brands like Dr. Martens, Arcteryx, Daily Paper, The New Originals, Jordan and more!

The next store on our list is New Balance. The sports giant has made enormous steps in popularity in the past 2-3 years. This doesn't seem to be slowing down with new models like the 990v6, older ones like the 2002r, or collaborations with the likes of Patta. In the New Balance Amsterdam store, you'll find all the most popular NB sneakers and more!

13. Foot Locker

One of the most known and recognized sneaker stores in the world is arguably Foot Locker. The Foot Locker in de Kalverstraat, Amsterdam is one of the company's flagship stores and houses a 'House of Hoops' area, which is a special area with basketball clothes and shoes. The store has also been renovated recently so it's definitely worth stopping by!

14. Snipes

If we're talking about sneaker stores, then we can't forget Snipes. This store is located right outside of Amsterdam Centraal Station, in the gorgeous Victoria Hotel building. Just for the location it's worth visiting! Besides the nice location, you'll also be able to shop for a wide range of sneakers and apparel!

15. adidas Brand Center

And last but not least, we have adidas. The brand with the 3 stripes recently opened its new brand center in the heart of Amsterdam. Sneakerjagers also attended the opening event, about which you can read here (dutch only). The store houses everything from adidas that you can imagine like football kits, sneakers, or apparel.
