Season three of the popular series Lupin has been available to stream on Netflix since 5 October 2023. After the success of the first two seasons, many fans have long awaited the sequel to Assane Diop's adventure inspired by the adventures of gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin. While the first two seasons showcased many Air Jordan colorways, season three of Lupin also brings many other Nike sneakers into the spotlight. Let's see which sneakers are on display this season!

Recap Lupin season one and two
First of all, we give a little recap of the most popular Air Jordan colourways we've seen passing in the two volumes. But what was it all about? The first 10 episodes were all about the battle between Assane Diop and Pellegrini. Assane's father was falsely accused of a crime he did not commit.
This injustice drove Assane to revenge, causing him to live in constant fear, both for himself and his loved ones. Later in the season, his son is kidnapped and he goes all out to put Pellegrini behind bars.
After an impressive stunt, Pellegrini is arrested. To escape the police, he is forced to flee. The season ends with Pellegrini confessing and Diop escaping.
Air Jordan colorways in season one and two
If you have been paying close attention, you have no doubt noticed that several Air Jordan colorways were featured in the series. And yes, some of these sneakers are seen again in the third installment.
Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Yellow Toe' | 852542-071
In parts one and two, we saw the Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Yellow Toe' pass by. Diop wears the sneaker in the last episode of the first season, when the family is heading to the beach. In the first episode of the second part, the sneaker is spotted again. The 'Yellow Toe' features the well-known black, yellow and white colour blocking with, of course, the signature branding, such as the Air Jordan Wings logo.
Air Jordan 1 High OG Patent 'Fearless' | CK5666-100
One trainer that definitely stands out in the series is the Air Jordan 1 High OG Patent 'Fearless', which is seen again in parts one and two. The sneaker pays homage to Michael Jordan's statement 'Limits, like fear, are often just an illusion' and was thus part of the 'Fearless' collection. The patent leather red on the front is reminiscent of the Bulls and the blue on the back of the South Carolina Tar Heels.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Shattered Backboard 3.0 | 555088-028
Finally, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Shattered Backboard 3.0, which appeared in part two, is definitely not to be missed. While Assane discusses one of his signature plans with best friend Benjamin Ferel and dog J'Accuse, he wears the black and orange trainer that pays homage to an exhibition game in 1986.
Lupin season three
Season three of Lupin again brought plenty of suspense and cliffhangers you couldn't resist. Assane faced a heartbreaking choice, being forced to live far away from his beloved wife and son. He even went so far as to stage his own death to escape with his family.
The story took an unexpected turn with the sudden appearance of Assane's mother, who was being held captive by Cisco. Assane strained to the limit to save his mother. This led to the police discovering that he was not dead at all.
He realised that Claire and his son could only be safe if he himself ended up behind bars. With this in mind, he decided to get himself picked up. There, behind the prison walls, he faced an old enemy, which raised the tension to unprecedented levels….
Air Jordan colorways in season three
As in the previous two seasons, several Air Jordan colorways make their appearance in this season's series, this time other Nike silhouettes are also featured. Below is an overview of some of the models.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Pollen' | 555088-701
In season three, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Pollen' is indispensable. In the first episode, the sneaker is first shown when Assane delivers a letter to the jeweller, announcing his intention to rob the jeweller and steal the Black Pearl.
Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Metallic Orange' | DM3531-800
Another colorway that stands out right away is the Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Metallic Orange'. This sneaker first appears in episode 1 when the Assane stands on the Colonne Vendôme and observes Bruno as he is currently carrying out his plan to steal the Black Pearl.
Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Electro Orange' | 555088-180
In episode 1, another Air Jordan 1 colour appears for the first time: the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Electro Orange'. At the time, Diop has just stolen the Black Pearl and changes his clothes to get away undetected. He is then intercepted by Bruno and Benjamin, who take him away in a police car.
Nike Air Max Plus 'Black Camo' | DO6384-001
A standout sneaker, and one of the first non-Air Jordan models, is the Nike Air Max Plus 'Black Camo', which is also first seen in episode 1. This time, the sneaker is worn by Bruno, when he and Assane reunite because Assane wants to call in a favour to help him carry out his plan.
Air Jordan 1 High 'Crafted' | DH3097-001
In episode 2, the Air Jordan 1 High 'Crafted' appears when Assane goes to the church to receive instructions on how to rescue his mother. It is the moment when he gets confirmation that his mother has actually been kidnapped.
Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Starfish' | CZ0790-801
Besides the 'Crafted', the Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Starfish' is also seen for the first time in episode 3, worn by Delangle, one of the characters played by Diop. The trainer comes into view when he has to steal a painting from Cisco to save his mother. To get closer to the painting, he joins Cisco's gang.

We have seen plenty of Nike designs pass by in the series, although these are certainly not all the designs that turned up. An interesting detail is the presence of a closet in Assane's hideaway where other Air Jordan colorways regularly appear. This further highlights the gentleman thief's trainer passion.
The end of season 3 keeps the suspense going and makes us long for season 4. Unfortunately, we will have to be patient before watching the Lupin sequel.
