Nike SB and Nike, once siblings, are now beloved collaborators. After the success of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 and the anticipated Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95, the SB line now seems to be taking on the Air Max2 CB 94 Low. The SB version of Charles Barkley’s signature sneaker is set to drop sometime in 2026.
Under the motto “never change a winning team,” Nike SB doesn’t seem ready to stop customizing Nike’s famous models just yet. The next in line is a striking one: the Air Max2 CB 94 Low, the shoe in which former basketball player Charles Barkley was often seen.
Although the high version of this silhouette has popped up several times over the past few years, the low variant had been missing — until now. While there are no images of the sneaker yet, it is expected to launch in a ‘Varsity Red’ colorway.
The design stays close to the original silhouette but features adjusted elements that better suit the needs of skaters, including a durable gum sole.
At the time of writing, Nike SB has not yet confirmed that its version of the Air Max2 CB 94 Low will be released next year. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates on this release.
