For anyone who thought gorpcore was just a passing trend (guilty), think again. With brands like Merrell, ROA, and HOKA as pioneers, names such as Nike, adidas, and New Balance are now also regularly releasing weatherproof sneakers featuring technologies like GORE-TEX, Cordura, and Vibram.
The next release in this line-up is the Nike Air Force 1 GTX Vibram 'Clay Green'.
As the name suggests, this model features a Vibram sole, known for its excellent grip and traction. The sneaker is made from waterproof leather finished with GORE-TEX, a material that’s both weather-resistant and breathable. The result: a sneaker built to withstand any autumn day.

The Air Force 1 maintains its classic look. The upper comes in a modern green tone that contrasts nicely with the black Vibram sole. The Swoosh on the mid-panel is black, as are the inner lining and the Nike logo on the tongue.
The most striking update can be seen on the bottom of the sneaker: the traditional flat AF1 sole has been replaced by a rugged, treaded Vibram rubber outsole featuring the iconic yellow logo on the heel.
The Nike Air Force 1 GTX Vibram ‘Clay Green’ is now available at Nike. Check out the official images of the release below, and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates and other news.
