Orignal post May 1, 2025 - The legacy of the Air Jordan 1 gets another powerful addition this summer 2025 with the release of the Air Jordan 1 'UNC Reimagined'. Following the narrative behind Nike’s 'Reimagined' series, this pair blends archival colorways with vintage aesthetics.
Drawing inspiration from Michael Jordan’s time at the University of North Carolina, the silhouette uses cracked white leather across the toe box, quarter panels, and collar, offering a worn-in, time-travelled look. University Blue overlays add a pop of Tar Heel pride, while the off-white 'Sail' midsole and weathered outsole round out the aged effect.
This approach mirrors that of the 'Lost and Found' Air Jordan 1, aka the 'Chicago Reimagined.' Offering a peek at what a true ‘85 original might look like today, but built on the modern High OG tooling.
