In 2022, the Nike Air Max 1 will celebrate its thirty-fifth anniversary. The American sportswear brand will release several new colorways to celebrate that. One of the new releases for the anniversary is the women's exclusive Nike Air Max 1 PRM 'XXXV'.
The upper of this Air Max 1 is made with different materials and different colours. The base of the pair is made of white denim. The overlays above are made of leather and suede and each element has its own colour.
The overlay on the side, for example, is in a cream colour. At the upper lacing eyelets, there is an additional leather detail in a light green colour, with yellow eyelets. The overlay below the lacing eyelets is the same yellow colour. The lower overlay is divided into green and old pink. On the heeltab is a dark green colour and the Swoosh is covered in a dark blue colour. For a stronger contrast Nike made all stitching white.
The lower overlay above the Air Unit reads 'XXXV' in red stitching. XXXV is not only the name of the colorway, but also means thirty-five in Roman. A white imperfect Swoosh is stitched on the forefoot.
To create a kind of vintage and old feeling, Nike added graphic cracks to the midsole. The midsole is white and the cracks are yellowish. The outsole of the pair is in light pink.
The Nike Air Max 1 PRM 'XXXV' is expected to arrive in March via the Nike SNKRS app. Until then, we can take a look at the first images of this sneaker.
