Update June 4, 2025 – Following the success of the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 release in 2022, the collaboration is getting a sequel. Recently, the first images of an 'Ice Blue' colorway surfaced, and now the release has been officially confirmed (including a 'White Midnight' colorway).
Both colorways will drop on June 12, 2025, at JJJJound and selected retailers.
The sneakers stay true to JJJJound’s refined and minimalist style, with subtle yet thoughtfully curated color combinations. The previously teased 'Ice Blue' colorway features a white breathable mesh upper. Metallic silver overlays, black accents, and light blue details on the lining and GEL-units give the sneaker its signature look.
The 'White Midnight' colorway features 'Midnight' accents and a vintage aesthetic, thanks in part to the yellowed midsole and laces.
The JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 will drop in both colorways on June 12, 2025, at exactly 11:00 AM via JJJJound. The sneakers will also be available at selected retailers, including ASICS. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates.

First images of the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 ‘Ice Blue’
Original post May 6, 2025 - The collaboration between JJJJound and ASICS continues. After previous editions on the JJJound ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 and a foray into the GT-2160, a new colorway is now released: ‘Ice Blue’. The first images show an understated but striking update to the silhouette.
The design follows the line of previous JJJJound versions, with white mesh, chrome overlays and black details. New are the light blue accents on the lining, outsole, and around the GEL units.
The standard ASICS branding on the tongue has been replaced by the JJJJound logo. Initial images show an understated look, though additional details may follow towards release.
The GEL-Kayano 14 has been revived within the lifestyle segment for some time now. In recent years, the model grew to become a fixture within the so-called ‘tech runner’ trend.
Release
At the time of writing (6 May 2025), no official release date has been announced for the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 ‘Ice Blue’. A drop is expected in the coming weeks, via JJJJound.com and possibly later via selected retailers.
