Comme des Garçons HOMME Plus is no stranger to Nike. This time, for Spring/Summer 2026, the Japanese label brings back the Nike Air Max Dolce, a hybrid from 2002 that blurs the line between sneaker and dress shoe.
First spotted on the Paris Fashion Week runway, the revamped Air Max Dolce taps into Nike’s early 2000s design playbook. An era marked by risk, rule-breaking silhouettes that dared to defy category. Back then, the Dolce was a niche outlier. Now, it returns at the centre of fashion’s current fixtation: the sneaker-loafer.
Comme des Garçons delivers the Dolce in three colorways. Monochrome white, black, and a mixed version. Visually, the collaboration strips back the tech DNA of the original, swapping out its webbing for a glossy patent leather shroud. The heel still shows a visible Air unit with the upper featuring foam-moulded ridges that echo the 2002 blueprint.
And there’s more. The Air Max Dolce Light. This pair offers a slightly more conventional take with a traditional tongue and lace system, while keeping the silhouette’s avant-garde edge.
The Comme des Garçons x Nike Air Max Dolce is expected to land as part of the S/S26 rollout. Stay tuned to the Sneakerjagers release calendar for more updates.
An official date has not been announced yet. The pair is expected as part of the SS26 rollout. Check out the Sneakerjagers release calendar for more updates.
