CLOT and adidas have been teaming up since 2024, bringing unique reworks of both the Superstar and Gazelle. Now, they're shifting their attention to Stan Smith, crafting a design that captures the essence of summer to a T. We're talking about the CLOT x adidas Stan Smith Espadrille.
This collaboration reimagines the classic tennis shoe with an espadrille-inspired midsole. Two colorways will be available, one in 'Footwear White' and the other in 'Cloud Black' with green and black. The white version sticks closely to the original Stan Smith look, featuring a smooth leather build. The black version opts for a textured upper with suede overlays and a more jute-inspired construction.
Both pairs come with green heel tabs and subtle co-branding details. The espadrille sole is brown on the white pair and black on the darker version. Adding a handcrafted, summery edge to the clean design.
Alongside the sneakers, CLOT and adidas are releasing an apparel range. This includes a crocheted vest, striped polo shirts with matching fringed shorts, and a lace-embroidered camp shirt. The entire range has been modelled by Hoyeon, Edison Chen, Blondey, George Russel, Jashlem, and even Stan Smith himself.
