After their first collab around the Manchester Metrolink, Charlie Bows’ label Drama Call and adidas are heading to the capital. The next collaboration focuses on the Superstar II, an update of the iconic shell-toe sneaker.
The sneaker comes with a matching apparel collection, inspired by ’90s terrace style.
In this collaboration, adidas’ Three Stripes and Drama Call’s three stars stand side by side, forming a symbolic trifecta. This is further highlighted in the campaign featuring some of England’s biggest stars: Headie One, Aitch, Shaun Ryder, and Window Kid.
The Superstar II, a slightly sturdier update of the original, serves as the perfect canvas for Drama Call’s imprint. The label’s three-star logo can be found on the heel, tongue, and sole, and is mirrored in a silver hangtag that also doubles as jewelry.
The drop is completed with an apparel collection consisting of two Beckenbauer tracksuits in white and black colorways. Just like the sneakers, these tracksuits also feature the three stars and stripes, referencing the collaboration between the two brands.
Release
The Drama Call x adidas Superstar II will release on September 27, 2025, during a takeover event in London. Exact details will be shared early that morning through Drama Call’s channels. Fans will later be invited to a pop-up to collect their access pass in order to secure the release.
