Following the recent drop of the adidas SPZL Pre-Spring collection in April 2024, Gary Aspden continues to celebrate the collection's 10th anniversary in 2024. Four updated versions of iconic models will be released on 24 May 2024: the Garwen SPZL, Lacombe SPZL, Blackburn SPZL and Ardwick SPZL. Each silhouette has been subtly modified to enhance the original designs without compromising their signature style.

Garwen SPZL | IG6563
The Garwen SPZL, inspired by the adidas Brisbane, makes a comeback in a new mix of light brown, putty and gum. The upper is made of leather with suede overlays on top. In addition, metallic details such as the Trefoil branding on the side panel and eyestays provide a nice contrast.
Lacombe SPZL | IG8938
The Lacombe SPZL is known for its sleek and timeless look. For this updated version, Aspden opts for a colour combination of white, chalk white and dark blue. The design furthermore includes a breathable mesh tongue with patent leather branding, which can also be found on the heel.
Blackburn SPZL | IH2139
The silhouette of the Blackburn SPZL has been very popular among sneaker lovers since its first drop. This new version combines elements of the original Blackburn SPZL and Blackburn Ewood SPZL, with a forest green suede upper and a midnight navy blue tongue.
The design is finished off with a golden Lancashire rose and the SPZL Mod Trefoil logo, paying homage to Aspden's hometown.
Ardwick SPZL | IH2146
Finally, the Ardwick SPZ also returns in this collection, with a number of updates to stand out from the limited edition of which only a few pairs were produced. The adidas Topanga silhouette remains, as does the emerald green hue inspired by the district of the same name in Manchester.
The biggest tweak for the 2024 pair is a smaller tongue tag with gold lettering on a deep brown canvas, while chocolate brown foxing and inverted leather uppers give the pair a very unique look.

The adidas SPZL Decade Pack will start dropping on 24 May 2024 at 10am at adidas and selected retailers. You can check all retailers and release information attached to this article.
