adidas and Mr. Bailey launch OZMORPHIS silhouette
After adidas and Mr. Bailey released the exclusive 'OZLUCENT' sneaker in 2022, the duo will come together again in 2023. This time, another new silhouette, the 'OZMORPHIS', will drop. The two continue their search for the perfect blend between nature and man in the sneaker world. The adidas x Mr. Bailey 'OZMORPHIS' will release on 9 February 2023.
The extensive design and research approach Mr Bailey is known for once again creates a unique story behind the sneaker. Like the previous silhouette, the design is entirely inspired by the Aurelia Aurita, better known as the moon jellyfish. This makes for a collab we won't soon forget.
The 'OZMORPHIS' has been given a black colour with some details in grey. The sneaker's upper, which sits atop an adiPRENE midsole, comes in a cocoon-like shape with a dive-inspired sock on the inside. Written on the sock are various details about the sneaker in grey. All this makes for a unique and innovative design.

MRBAILEY x adidas Originals 'Ozlucent' is inspired by moon jellyfish
At the end of June 2022, MRBAILEY and adidas Originals announced their long-term collaboration. The first sneaker the duo will release, the 'Ozlucent', is inspired by the Aurelia aurita. This sea creature is also popularly known as the Moon or Ear jellyfish. This sneaker is a follow up to the, also sea life inspired, MRBAILEY x adidas Originals Ammonite Superstar.
Unlike the luminous Moon Jellyfish, the 'Ozlucent' is all black. The upper has a skeleton construction made of pur foam, an artificial alternative to leather. Within this is a black sock made of neoprene, the material a wetsuit is made of. Underneath the upper is a midsole of the comfortable adiplus. Rounding out the pair is a rubber outsole.
It is still unclear if the sneaker will drop. MRBAILEY's website states that a small run of only 60 pairs was made for a special group of people.

Mr. Bailey continues his collaboration with adidas. In 2020 the two designed the 'Ammonite Superstar', now in 2022 the 'Ozlucent' will be released. The silhouette is again inspired by the underwater world. The duo are also expected to release more adidas silhouettes in the future. Before that happens, let's take a look at the official images of the 'Ozlucent'.
This time, the trainer is inspired by the life cycle of the Aurelia Aurita, also known as the moon jellyfish. The new pair comes in a ton-sur-ton black with a diving-inspired sock on the inside. The sock is also encased in a black rubber cage with a geometric design and perforations of varying sizes.
A textured outsole provides grip and the drawstring laces add a gorpy vibe. The sneaker is expected to be packaged in a softshell made from sugar cane and cellulose. The box is made of mushrooms and refers to the hood of a jellyfish.
The Mr. Bailey x adidas Originals 'Ozlucent' will be released in the CONFIRMED-app and on the official website of the designer. Unfortunately we don't know when this will happen yet, so keep an eye on our release calendar!
