adidas Forum 84 High Tulie Yaito (Women's)

adidas and accessories designer Tulie Yaito recently announced a new design for the adidas Forum HI. The redesigned sneaker will be released in a limited edition and features a colourful design. We show you the collab in detail here and get to know Tulie Yaito.

adidas and designer Tulie Yaito recently announced the limited edition adidas Forum HI, which you can get your hands on from 8 July 2023. Tulie is known for her vibrant designs and creative use of colour and materials.

Get to Know Tulie Yaito

The designer is not only known for her colourful designs, but also for founding the label 'Yaito'. Raised in Jamaica, Tulie moved to New York to study fashion marketing and merchandising. In 2015, Tulie and her partner and co-founder Carlton launched their company 'Yaito' with bespoke pieces made to order. Over time, the brand has grown to include accessories, homeware and apparel pieces.

The adidas Forum HI

The newly designed adidas Forum HI comes with a wild upper. This is a mix of pebbled leather, faux pony skin, cowhide with removable straps, blue and red ostrich embossed leather, green suede and black paisley embossed leather. The designer's influence on this limited edition sneaker shows a harmonious mix of colour, contrast and materials, referencing Tulie's Jamaican roots.

The designer tells adidas:

THIS COLLABORATION IS BIGGER THAN MYSELF. IT’S ABOUT MUCH MORE THAN JUST DESIGNING A SNEAKER BUT ALSO ADVOCATING FOR WOMEN, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO LOOK JUST LIKE ME, WHO CAME FROM LITTLE TO NOTHING, WHO MIGRATED WITH A MISSION, AND FANTASIZED ABOUT CREATING GENERATIONAL WEALTH AND BREAKING BOUNDARIES.

The limited edition adidas Forum HI comes in WMNS sizing and will be released directly at adidas and other retailers from July 8, 2023. You'll have to set aside around 130€.
