In 1985, the Air Jordan 1 was released for the first time. The sneaker came in a 'Bred' colorway. It combined the colours red and black. Now, more than 35 years later, the colorway comes back in a 'Patent Bred' variant. In the past, Nike has already given several pairs a patent leather makeover. For example, in 2019, the brand came out with the 'UNC' and 'Fearless' colorway. These also had a shiny upper part.
Now the 'Bred' comes in a patent leather jacket. The sneaker has a black upper and is made of shiny leather. The overlays and Swoosh are red. The toebox and heel are also red. On the heel is the Wing logo. On the heel is the Wing logo, which is coloured black.
The midsole on the pair is white. The outsole is coloured red and combines well with the upper. There are perforation holes on the nose. These let the sneaker breathe. On the insole is the Nike Air logo. The label on the tongue also features the Nike branding.
