Tuesday March 8, 2022 is International Women's Day, a day that Vans is not going to let pass by unnoticed. Vans celebrates this day with the launch of the 'Divine Energy' collection. Honouring women, regardless of age or gender, is at the heart of this collection. 'Divine Energy' includes a range of clothing and six new footwear items. Be as 'Off The Wall' as you like.
Vans wants to represent multiple communities as one. This is reflected in the different neutral colours and patchwork details that have been used.
'Divine Energy' offers two Old-Skool colorways, one that is all white and the other has an earth tone patchwork. In addition, the collection offers a Vans Slip-On with a similar design. In addition, the Slip-On features daisies and the iconic checkerboard print.
Third, the Vans Costa Slide-On, this sneaker has a flower print. The print is also on the Vans EVDNT UltimateWaffle. Finally the Vans Sk8-Hi, that completes the collection. The shoe is made of full black leather with a subtle daisy on the heel.
A nice detail about the new sneakers is that the Vans Costa Slide-on and the Vans Sk8-Hi have words like "fighter, dreamer, healer, leader, lawyer, mentor and lover" in different languages on the sole.
The 'Divine Energy' collection will be available for sale from Friday February 25, 2022, via the Vans website and selected retailers. Vans will donate 2.5% of sales to the Tides Foundation.
