Recently we saw the official images of the Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack, Scotts own silhouette. The sneaker had been teased by the rapper for quite some time and were released during the February 2024 Grammys, exclusively on Travis Scott's website. Now we see the next colorway of the silhouette; the 'University Red'.
Rapper Travis Scott, known for songs such as 'Sicko Mode,' 'My Eyes' and 'Goosebumps,' is a familiar face at Nike. The Houston-based artist already has many collaborations to his name, including the Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Olive,' Mac Attack 'Light Smoke Grey', and the classic Air Jordan 1 High 'Mocha.'
The first images of a previously unseen silhouette appeared in late 2023. The sneaker soon acquired its name Air Jordan Jumpman Jack and appeared in a 'Sail' colorway. During the Grammys, where Travis performed with his album Utopia, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan Jumpman Jack 'Sail' received a shock drop on Travis' website.
Now we see another colorway appearing, called "University Red. The sneaker is very similar to its predecessor but has received a red Swoosh on the center panel. The upper is black solid canvas, the leather overlays have a 'Sail' color. A strap is placed on the toecap and the heel features the Jumpman Jack logo.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan Jumpman Jack 'University Red' will most likely be released on May 1, 2024, at Nike and various retailers. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates and don't miss this drop.
