The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 celebrates its birthday this year

The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 returns this year, celebrating its 30th anniversary. The last time we saw a colorway for the sneaker was in 2010. One of the first colour combinations we will see this year is the Black/Grey/White. Read more about the sneaker's release below.

As the name suggests, the sneaker was first released in 1991. This was the first sneaker in Nike's Structure series. The Structure Series is a line of running sneakers that offered extra stability for runners who suffer from over-pronation. The sneaker quickly became very popular because of the two colour combination, which was very rare at the time. Also, the Air Unit looked different from the outside than the inside.

We await some more colorways of the silhouette this year. Check out another look here, in our Sneaker News.

The sneaker has a Black/Grey/White colour scheme. The base is made of black leather which is complimented by black suede overlays. The mudguard and tongue consist of leather, too and they have a grey colour. Nike branding is placed in white on the Swoosh, tongue and heel logo. Looking at the midsole we see that it is made of white, black and grey. This goes well with the minimalist upper.

We do not yet know an officical release date for the Nike Air Structure Triax 91, but we can expect the sneaker sometime in the coming months from Nike. Check out the images below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar to never miss a sneaker release.
