Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market
The sneaker heads among you probably remember a past collaboration. In November 2020, the 'Pure Platinum' colorway was released. The shoe had an extremely low quantity and was made special by the Swarovski look. Currently, the shoe is being resold for €3000+. You can take a look at a photo below.
The successful collaboration is now to be continued in a new colorway. So far we only have a mock up of the 'Barley Sail' colorway, but we will check it out below.
CPFM x Nike Dunk Low SP Leather 'Barley Sail'
The first rumours about a possible 'Sail' variant already came out in April 2021. In the meantime, we know that the shoe will be released and therefore check out the mock up in detail. Of course, the Dunk doesn't come in a standard colorway but convinces with many details in different Sail colorways.
The base is in a cream colour, while the embellished overlays are dressed in a darker sail colour. We also see some co-branding details like the signature Cactus Plant Flea Market smiley on the Swoosh.
The overlays run in the lower mock-up, giving the upper a slightly torn look. The brown laces also provide a great contrast. The Nike label with the red Nike Swoosh can be seen at the top of the shoe tongue.
The mid sole in cream matches the leather base and the outsole provides a real eye-catcher. The sole has a chic colour gradient with some red and blue details. We are excited about the first photos and look forward to the kicks.
CPFM x Nike Dunk Low 'Barley Sail' Release Info
Unfortunately, we can't give you an exact release date at the moment. However, we expect the shoe to be released in 2022. As soon as the first official images appear or we know more details, you will find them on our Instagram account or in the sneaker news.
We also have to wait for the official announcement on the subject of price. Normally, Dunks in collaborations cost €110, but the 'Pure Platinum' CPFM had a retail price of €500. Of course, more material was needed for this release, but the price might be a bit higher than the usual €110.
Depending on the quantity, you can probably try your luck at the Nike SNKRS app and selected other retailers via Raffle. Due to the limited offer, it will probably be very difficult to get hold of the shoe, but we'll keep our fingers crossed for you anyway!
