Since the release of the Air Jordan 1 High, all colourways have been brought back in retro form at some point. Yet there is one that has never seen a re-release in those 36 years. We're talking about the Air Jordan 1 High 'Natural Grey'. This month, the colorway returns in its original form.
In 1984 Nike gave Michael Jordan his own sneaker, including a clothing line. This was the first time Nike did something in this direction and has shaped all collaborations as they are today. The Air Jordan 1 High was immediately very popular, so Nike decided to release a new sneaker every season.
Right now we are at the Air Jordan 35, which is primarily a basketball shoe rather than a lifestyle model. Ever since the release of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan has always been the leader in design, quality and performance. After 36 years, the Air Jordan 1 High is still the most popular sneaker silhouette and there will be many more beautiful colorways for the model.

What makes this release so beautiful is that the shape of the sneaker is exactly the same as the one from 1985. In this shape, the heel is a lot straighter and the area around the ankle a lot narrower. The upper is made of white leather with some grey details on the Swoosh, Jordan Wings logo and ankle. The ankle area and Swoosh are both made of suede. Looking down, we see that the upper rests on a white midsole that is combined with grey outsole. As another nice touch, the 'Natural Grey' comes with the original hangtag that came with the 1985 release.
The Air Jordan 1 High Retro 85 'Natural Grey' will be released on Wednesday, February 10 via the Nike SNKRS app from €200. Only 23,000 pairs of this sneaker will be released, so it will be extremely difficult to get a win on this shoe.
