You can't wait either, dear community! It's about time that the new Air Jordan 1 High 'Dark Mocha' is finally getting on the market. In our release calendar you have already given the Jordan countless upvotes! That means for us: it is at the top of your coplist (understandably 😍). That's when we thought to ourselves at Sneakerjagers: give me that thing! Let's have a look at it in detail! And that's why we're giving you our personal little review of the new Air Jordan 1 High 'Dark Mocha'.
So, especially for this delicious sneaker, we sat down in the office, ground the beans, unfolded the filters and prepared the coffee. This is our first look at the Air Jordan 1 'Dark Mocha':
Air Jordan 1 High ‘Dark Mocha’ - the details
The "Dark Mocha" colour scheme of the Air Jordan 1 comes into its own during our small photo shoot in this environment full of coffee. Especially when we look at the 'Dark Mocha' around the ankle of the sneakers. This part of the kick is made of nubuk and provides a nice balance between the leather materials on the upper.
The black details of the sneaker already start at the ankle with the new style. Of course, as with all colorways of the Jordan 1 OG High silhouette, we also find the logo of the Jordan Wings here. If we take a closer look at the branding on the new Jordan, we also find the Nike Air branding on the tongue. The swoosh here is also dyed black and also the leather overlays on the upper come in the same colour:
The rest of the upper is held in 'sail'. This looks white at first sight, but actually has a creamy touch. The tongue and the second pair of laces you get are also in this colour. This really nice upper made of leather and nubuk stands on a 'sail' midsole. A black outsole completes the look!
A few years ago we celebrated the release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1. It was launched in a similar colorway. This is now the next highlight of the Jordan Brand, which comes in earth tones. In general such colours are not seen so often here, so the hype around the sneaker, you know it yourself, is only bigger!
And what about the release??
The new Air Jordan 1 High 'Dark Mocha' will likely release on October 31, 2020 by Nike and various other retailers. So we will have to wait a while until the release. Our tip for all sneaker hunters during the waiting time: enjoy our pictures with a nice cup of coffee.
