The adidas Predator Megaride bridges the gap between soccer and lifestyle

If there’s one brand that has stood the test of time with its football collections, it’s adidas. The German brand has been setting itself apart for decades with innovative designs that shine on the pitch. Now, adidas brings one of its most iconic silhouettes into the lifestyle world: the Megaride.

The result is a bold, hybrid silhouette that blends Y2K aesthetics with football DNA—perfectly in step with today’s sneaker culture.

The adidas Predator Megaride is launching in three colorways: 'Black', 'Metallic Blue', and 'White'. The sneaker draws inspiration from the Predator Absolute, a football boot worn by the world’s top players during the 2006 World Cup. While the sole unit has been adapted from the original performance studs, the upper remains true to its predecessor.

The updated adidas Predator Megaride also features the signature fold-over tongue, adding a nostalgic touch. Dynamic lines and overlays give the sneaker its striking look. The upper is crafted from premium leather, and the metallic blue version—famously worn by David Beckham—further amplifies the model’s Y2K aesthetic.

The adidas Predator Megaride is now available at adidas in the three colorways mentioned above. Check them out here. Want more articles like this? Head over to the Sneakerjagers news page.
