The adidas Adizero Aruku, one of adidas’ latest silhouettes, has just been released in brand-new colorways. The sneaker combines elements from the performance world with a lifestyle-oriented approach. The design stands out thanks to its chunky sole, technical details, and references to the early 2000s.

The silhouette
The Aruku features a sturdy platform sole made from SWIRLFOAM. This new cushioning technology provides soft support, a light bounce, and a natural roll-through while walking. Thanks to the shape of the sole, the model also boasts a distinctive profile.
The upper is inspired by the lesser-known Adizero PR. Materials like breathable mesh and molded TPU panels provide both structure and ventilation. The shapes and lines of the overlays draw from the Y2K era, but have been reinterpreted with a contemporary twist.
With this drop of the Adizero Aruku, multiple colorways are available. Each pair shares the same silhouette and technical foundation but differs in look and feel. These three releases stand out:

First up in the lineup: the Adizero Aruku 'Active Purple & Solar Green'. This colorway combines a vibrant purple upper with lime green accents and metallic silver details. The result is a striking appearance that immediately catches the eye within the collection.

Next is the Adizero Aruku 'Core Black', presented in an all-black design with 'Iron Metallic' accents. This sneaker could easily fit within the adidas Y-3 collection.
