In classic New Balance fashion, two new colorways of the 990v6 Made in USA have quietly surfaced. This time under the continued direction of Teddy Santis. The upcoming pairs, 'Vintage Indigo' and 'Clay Ash', are expected to drop as part of the Spring/Summer 2025.
This isn't the first time Santis has reworked the 990v6 since taking over New Balance's Made in USA line. These two latest editions follow suit to his ongoing application of a premium, subtle aesthetic.
Both colorways feature mesh, suede uppers, tonal laces, and the signature 990 heel badge. An updated heel clip sits above a reworked sole unit, offering a subtle refresh while staying true to the model's roots.
The 'Vintage Indigo' is expected to be released first in July 2025, with the 'Clay Ash' colorway following suit in September 2025. The price has not been announced yet, but both versions are expected to land via New Balance and select retailers.
