The Queens & Sneakers Show is back. On Thursday 15 September 2022, the eighth episode comes online on the Sneakerjagers YouTube channel. In this episode, hosts Maartje and Carmen welcome guests Laura and Carmen.

Laura Séraphine
In this episode, none other than Laura Séraphine (@seraphizm) is our guest. Laura is the founder of Petite Ganache, a unisex and inclusive children's clothing brand. Petite Ganache's items are seasonal and have a strong focus on sustainability. Before Laura founded the brand, she was a pastry chef in London for seven years. This was therefore the inspiration for the brand's name.
Laura has a four-year-old daughter, Lou Mavo. When Lou started growing up, Laura realised that the offerings in the children's clothing market were no match for what she had in mind, she took matters into her own hands. She decided to design her own children's clothes and started cutting and sewing.
This has led Laura to where she is today and Petite Ganache is a much-loved children's clothing brand. The items have powerful designs and draw inspiration from Laura's multicultural life in cities such as Paris, London and Rotterdam. Besides founding Petite Ganache, Laura also works at Food & Lycra and is a creative producer at Hiphophuis. She also has a great passion for sneakers.
Carmen Luijt
The second guest from the seventh episode of Queens & Sneakers Show, is Carmen Luijt. Carmen is the founder of fashion label Stitching Stories (@stitchingstories__) a label that seeks solidarity. According to Carmen, Foundation Stories is a means of making your own identity and story visible to others. Thus, clothing items are visualised with campaigns and collaborations that create a dialogue.
The inspiration of each project within Stitching Stories comes from the story we carry as individuals in everyday life and how we express this in clothing and appearance. According to Carmen, everyone tells their own story in how they dress. Individual differences and similarities can be expressed in clothing styles and this is what Carmen tries to bring out in her label.
Ever since she was a little girl, Carmen never understood why people are judged by their looks. This has been her drive to start her own label. The items feature striking, chic prints. In the past, Stitching Stories has already collaborated with names like Gorillas, Hidden Youth and Sneakerness.
