A few weeks after the release of the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 'Wave' — which dropped in no less than four colorways — we’re already seeing the duo’s next project emerge. And no, this one doesn’t feature a 'wave'. This time, it’s the Air Max Dn8, a silhouette that debuted in 2024 as the successor to the Air Max Dn.
Following collaborations with names like Better Gift Shop, Paris Saint-Germain, and a rumoured link-up with Palace in the near future, Patta now joins the line up with a bold take on the model.
Via Instagram, co-founder Edson Sabajo offered a first look at the upcoming collaboration. In this version, the classic mesh toebox is replaced with glossy patent leather, giving the sneaker a premium look and feel.
A leather panel with perforation holes has been added to the toe, giving the design extra texture. White cut-out details on the midfoot align seamlessly with the organic lines of the sculpted midsole. Dark blue eyelets provide a subtle contrast in color.
The silver s-biner across the midfoot adds a functional, outdoor-inspired touch. On the tongue, Patta’s script logo is placed just above the Nike Air Max branding.
It’s a striking sneaker that might feel a bit out of place alongside icons like the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 — but perhaps it’s the Amsterdam-based label that’s about to give this model the attention it deserves.
As of now, there’s no official release date for the Patta x Nike Air Max Dn8. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates.
