The timeless Air Force 1 model has had a camouflage makeover before, but a makeover like this has never been seen. This time Nike has used recycled materials for their upcoming Air Force 1 '07 LX 'Light Smoke Grey' which is available now Nike and other retailers.
As we mentioned before, Nike has released quite a few colorways on the Air Force 1 that feature a camouflage pattern. Recently, a new 'Desert' colorway surfaced that features recycled materials. This interesting sneaker is part of the Move-To-Zero project.
Nike Air Force 1 '07 LX 'Light Smoke Grey'
The upper is mainly made of recycled materials and reminds us of the material corduroy. On top of this, there are all kinds of overlays that provide classic style, sturdiness and support. Around the Swoosh, there are overlays in a neon green colour that give the sneaker extra life. Underneath the upper runs a speckled midsole with underneath an outsole that features Nike Grind. This means that the outsole is made of recycled material, so as to use as little new material as possible.
