Maison Château Rouge and Jordan Brand are teaming up again, this time coming up with an Air Jordan 2. The duo last worked on an Air Jordan 1 Mid, in 2019. In March 2022, on-feet images of the pair have surfaced online. The sneakers are expected to release in June 2022.
Maison Château Rouge is a Paris-based brand, which is inspired by African culture. The brand wants to share African culture and make it more accessible. The collections are designed in the Château Rouge district in Paris.
The Air Jordan 2 features mainly orange and white colours. Several features on the sneakers refer to African culture. This can be seen on the design on the tongue and sides. The hand-stitched details on the tongue also refer to this culture. These features were also seen on the previous collaboration, the Air Jordan 1 Mid.
Further details are the yellow accents on the Wings logo and the branding on the heel. On the inside of the tongue it says 'United Youth International' and 'Chicago Paris Dakar'. Another nice detail on the sneakers are the graphics of Michael Jordan on the insoles.
Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when the Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan 2 will be released, but we expect this to be in June 2022. Do you want to stay informed about these sneakers? Keep an eye on the release calendar!
