Nike Tech is getting a new direction. What started as one well-known fleece line is, according to Nike, growing into an apparel collection for the whole year. The renewed Nike Tech collection arrives on 5 November via nike.com and at selected stores.
The starting point is an approach where fabric comes first. Nike looks at the weather and the situations you wear the clothes in, and only then at the cut. That led to separate platforms, each with its own job. Think of clothing for commuting, travel and everyday movement, in every season.
The most technical piece is SF3. Nike calls it the most advanced expression of weather protection in the line. Recycled materials, fully sealed seams and new manufacturing techniques keep water out without shutting off airflow. A notable detail: according to Nike, the fabric softens the longer you wear it.

Boreas, Fleece and lighter layers
New is the Boreas, a full-zip that pairs high-pile fleece with water-repellent panels. That keeps you warm when the weather is unpredictable. It has an oversized fit and zip pockets to store your essentials securely.

Tech Fleece is, of course, staying. The fleece is smooth on both sides and the cut is a little roomier, so layering is easy. Reflective Bemis tape along the chest and seams adds extra visibility.

For warmer days there is Helios, with light, breathable fabric and micro-ventilation, and Shori, which combines cooling comfort and stretch. Tech Woven completes the range. According to Nike's Greg Nolley, this turns the Nike Tech line into a head-to-toe layering system.
You'll find the new Nike Tech pieces at Nike from 5 November.
