Nike and Virgil Abloh Archive Open Exhibition During Paris Fashion Week

Less than a month after Paris Fashion Week S/S25, Nike has announced that, together with the Virgil Abloh Archive™, home to Abloh's iconic designs, it will open an exhibition during Fashion Week this September. The exhibition will run from September 20 through October 10, 2025, at the Grand Palais.

Virgil Abloh: The Codes

The loss of Virgil Abloh still leaves a lasting impact. The founder of Off-White and former Creative Director of Louis Vuitton passed away in 2021 from a rare form of cancer. Years later, his work continues to be celebrated—not only for its groundbreaking design but also for his lasting influence on the creative community.

In 2025, the collaboration with Abloh will be revived. A release of the Air Jordan 1 High is expected soon, a sample dating back to the period when Abloh worked with Nike on The Ten, one of the most influential sneaker collaborations of all time.

In anticipation of this release, the Virgil Abloh estate, in collaboration with Nike, will present a major exhibition titled Virgil Abloh: The Codes, set to premiere during Paris Fashion Week. The show will take place at the Grand Palais and will feature a selection of nearly 1,000 pieces.

“This exhibit is just the beginning of our work to share Virgil’s legacy and principles with the creative community and the broader world,” says Shannon Abloh, president and chair of the Virgil Abloh Archive™.

“Sharing his personal collection, unfinished projects, and magnum opuses with the public is a monumental way we celebrate Virgil’s legacy and his commitment to making information accessible and collaborative. Through the Archive™️, Virgil will live on as a source of inspiration and beacon of creative knowledge.”

The exhibition will run from September 20 through October 10, 2025. More information can be found here.
