On April 22, 2022, RTFKT, a metaverse fashion company, unveiled Nike CryptoKicks. The company calls it the "future of sneakers". The sneakers, a virtual version of the Nike Dunk Low, are available for purchase on RTFKT's website and on the NFT marketplace Opensea.
The Dunk Low has received a remarkable makeover resulting in a futuristic look. This can be seen in the metallic components and the custom sole. Different layers on the sneakers can be customized with different skins. The skins include a variety of colors, prints, textures and ornaments. This is done through Skin Vials, a feature that allows you to change the look of the sneaker.
Nike and RTFKT have currently released eight different skins, with more expected to be released. You can watch RTFKT's announcement video below!
