New colorways of the Nike Kobe 4,6 and 8 Protro are dropping this week

As many as three sneakers from the Nike Kobe line will appear on April 13, 2024. The line in collaboration with Kobe Bryant started in the early 2000s. The sneakers embrace the 'Black Mamba' mentality, which focuses on striving for success. The Nike Kobe Protro 4 'Philly', Kobe 6 Protro 'Italian Camo' en Kobe 8 Protro 'Venice Beach' drop this week.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant was considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Bryant played over 20 years for the Los Angeles Lakers and won several NBA championships with the team. In 2020, he died in a tragic helicopter crash along with his daughter Gianna. Despite his passing, his family carries on his legacy.

The Nike Kobe line is a popular collection among basketball players worldwide. The sneakers in this line were designed in collaboration with Kobe and therefore best meet the needs of basketball players. In 2010, the duo introduced the Nike Kobe VI, a sneaker that would become one of the best basketball shoes of all time.

Now we see no less than three sneakers from the Nike Kobe line appear; the Nike Kobe 6 Protro 'Italian Camo', Kobe 8 Protro 'Venice Beach', and Kobe Protro 4 'Philly'. Each of the sneakers has a unique colorway and uses distinct motifs. The 'Italian Camo' uses a snake motif on the upper, giving the pair a chic look.

'Venice Beach' has the most colorful design of all three of them and uses the colors blue, red, beige, and many more. The 'Philly' colorway pays tribute to Mamba's hometown. Consequently, the insole features his birthdate.
