After months of speculation, the first images of the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Swamp Sponge Dunk have finally surfaced. The sneakers appeared via rapper Lil Yachty, who often gets new and eye-catching Nike releases in his hands early on.
In the photos, we see three different colorways casually tossed in a pile. A messy but telling preview of what to expect from this quirky collaboration.
The Dunks build on the ‘Sponge By You’ concept from 2019, where CPFM already experimented with sponge-like textures on the Nike Blazer. This time, the design takes it a step further. The upper of the Swamp Sponge Dunk features striking foam that resembles a wet sponge.
The mix of materials such as mesh, corduroy, and fuzzy hairs makes this a very eye-catching release. The colorways are vibrant and unpolished, exactly what we’re used to from CPFM’s eccentric style.
Although Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market have not yet officially confirmed the collaboration, various sources indicate that all three colorways will drop in the fall of 2025 via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers.
