Filling Pieces is a brand that is currently growing rapidly and becoming increasingly popular. If you want to get your hands on some kicks, then you've come to the right place - today we'll give you a sizing guide around Filling Pieces. Because how frustrating would it be if the kicks end up being too big or too small, or if they pinch the sides or squeeze your toes?

Know your Size - welcome to the Filling Pieces Sizing Guide!

The history of Filling Pieces

First things first: Filling Pieces is a Dutch sneaker label founded in 2009 by designer Guillaume Philibert. The brand emerged from the vision of offering high-quality sneakers with a minimalist design at an affordable price.

Philibert studied architecture and design and extensively explored the aesthetics of buildings and urban spaces. These experiences influenced his work at Filling Pieces and led to a clear and timeless design language. The first Filling Pieces sneakers were designed and handmade by Philibert in his own apartment. The use of high-quality materials and attention to detail have always been integral to the brand.

Through collaborations with renowned brands such as Barneys New York, KITH, and PUMA, Filling Pieces quickly became a globally recognized name in the sneaker scene. In recent years, the brand has experienced significant growth and is now available in over 50 countries - did you know that?

How to determine your own shoe size

First of all, it is important to determine your own shoe size. When ordering sneakers online, it's not as easy as going to a shoe store and trying on the shoes in person. How frustrating would it be if you ordered new shoes online but they didn't fit?

You will need: 2 sheets of paper (A4 size), 1 sharpened pencil, and a ruler.

Here's how:

Take a sheet of paper and a pencil. Find a wall or door frame where you can stand straight and lean your heels against it. It's best to wear the same pair of socks that you would wear with your new Vans.

Place the sheet of paper under your feet - you can secure it with tape if your weight doesn't hold the paper in place properly. Stand upright with your heels against the wall and start tracing the outline of your foot with the pencil. If this is too tricky for you, someone can surely help you.

Once you have a nice outline, you can start measuring. Take the ruler and measure the distance from the heel to the tip of your big toe. Write down the result in centimeters.

It's best to repeat the process on your other foot. Almost everyone has two feet of different sizes, and even millimeters can make a difference.
