In the spotlight: Nike Air Max 95 OG 'Neon

The Nike Air Max 95 OG in the famous 'Neon' Colorway is celebrating its re-release. The shoe will be released on December 17th at 9:00 am at Nike. The new Air Max 95 will then be available for 170€. The shoe catches the eye with its special look. The look is eye-catching because of the neon elements and the dark sole and of course it has a special story. Let's take a closer look at the shoe.

Details about the Nike Air Max 95 OG Neon

So with the Colorway the very first Nike Air Max 95 Colorway is back on the market! The silhouette celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and traditionally, Nike goes back to its origins in such celebrations! Very nice! Jerry Lozano designed the style back then and was inspired by the fact that joggers in Beaverton (the birthplace of Nike) usually had to run in the rain and their shoes always got wet. This is how the CW is built up as you can read later. But the neon colours were an important part of Nike's running history before the Air Max 95 OG.

If we take a closer look at the Air Max 95 OG Neon, the neon accents on the Air Max 95 are immediately noticeable. All in all the colours make the shoe look a bit darker. This is partly due to the black overlay on the front of the toe. From bottom to top the shoe gets lighter and lighter and when viewed from above it even has white accents. The dark sole makes the shoe look a little wider. This has to do with the fact that the style is inspired by the wet streets that make shoes wet from bottom to top. The Air Max 95 OG Neon is a cool shoe for all Air Max lovers. Here below you can find some detail photos.

History Nike Air Max 95

The Air Max 95 is a big part of the Air Max history. The shoe was designed by Sergio Lozano, who actually took his inspiration for the shoe from the human anatomy. Nike also made further advances in Air technology with the Air Max 95. It was the first sneaker in the series with the second air cushion in the forefoot. If this is not enough to give you a history of the Air Max, I would like to remind you of the collaboration with Eminem, who designed some Air Max for charity.

Let's take also a look at the Air Max 95 DSTRKT 'Neon', which is about to be released aswell and which stands out directly through its wide fairings. This makes the look of the shoe a bit military und totally modern. Below you can find two pictures.
