We have seen many special themes and designs drop in the adidas A-ZX series! All 26 drops stood for a letter of the alphabet and unique really says it all. Just recently we introduced you to the new Overkill x adidas ZX 8500. Now, the Three Stripes brand is taking it easy again as they present the new adidas ZX 8000 SG 'Golf'.
The name says it all, of course: the kicks are inspired by golf. Let's take a look at what that looks like in detail now!
The ZX 8000 from adidas is without question a cult model. Like the entire ZX family, this model was originally developed for runners and is therefore a great companion. Visually, the silhouette's retro style, sporty vibes and, in most cases, the special colourways are very appealing. This is also the case with the new model:
The adidas ZX 8000 SG 'Golf' - The Details
The adidas ZX 8000 SG 'Golf' is one of the latest models from the A-ZX series and stands for the letter 'G'. The kicks therefore celebrate everything that has to do with golf. The crater-shaped leather upper is the first and perhaps the most striking allusion to the sport. It was designed to look like a typical golf ball.
In keeping with this, but also with the calm and style of golf, the upper is mainly white, which, together with some black accents as a contrast, creates a super clean look. Orange and neon green details were then used as colour highlights for the outsole.
If you look very closely, you can see that the insole also has a turf print, another nod to golf. Another highlight is the magnetic Trefoil branding on the tongue. This can be removed and used as a so-called golf ball marker so that you can record the position of the ball on the golf course.
