The Nike Air Max 90, also known as Air Max 3, was first released in 1990. The first drop of this model consisted of 5 colorways. Over the years, all 5 OG colorways have been re-released as retro releases. This year we not only saw the return of the OG 'Infrared' colorway, but also the "Laser Blue" and "Eggplant" models with their original shapes, colours and details. Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’ - a Legend is back
The Nike Air Max 90 (III) received a lot of attention for its retro release this year. It is already the 8th retro release of the beloved colourway. 2002 (MX Orange), 2003, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 (Vintage Midsole) and 2015. Now in 2020 the sneaker then returned to its 1990 OG.
The iconic "Infrared" colour can be seen on the heel, outsole and around the Air Unit, just like back then. The sneaker also has grey suede on the upper that matches the dark grey Swoosh. A black leather mudguard and white mesh elements complete the look. This 2020 Retro Edition even has the OG Air Max box, including the tag and iconic AM90 booklet.
