Following his devastating Achilles injury last season, Damian Lillard is stepping into a new chapter of his career. One that’s anything but quiet. Now, he officially joins the elite ranks of adidas athletes with ten signature sneakers to his name. With official images of multiple colorways now surfacing, adidas has unveiled the Dame X in full.
The line includes five adidas Dame X colorways, including four for adults and one GS-exclusive. The standout? A multi-colour pair dubbed 'Dame's Light', dressed in green with orange and blue flashes. Then comes the 'Brookfield', named after Lillard's hometown in Oakland, CA.

After is a 'Dolla Red' colorway of black/red, inspired by his rap pseudonym. A white/black/green pair called 'Zero Metallic' completes the adult lineup, while the GS-exclusive takes the stage with black/teal/grey. As for performance. The Dame X features a Lightstrike midsole, stretch-woven upper and a generative rubber outsole for grip.
To launch the model, adidas tapped WNBA stars Sophie Cunningham and Chelsea Gray for the campaign. Bringing Lillard’s words to life: “It’s built for the next generation who are chasing their dreams with that same hunger.”
Release
The adidas Dame X releases on July 3, 2025, via adidas. Priced as the most affordable adidas Basketball signature model to date, it will retail at €90 for adults and €70 for GS sizes. All colorways will be available in both size ranges, except the black/teal/grey pair, which is a GS-exclusive.
