adidas Yeezy Foam Runner Vermilion
Many Yeezy fans expected the infamous 'Red October' colorway to appear on a more mainstream model. Yet, as we often see, Kanye made a bold choice. He skipped the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 and Yeezy 700 and chose to incorporate the striking colour on the Foam Runner. We have already seen the shoe in black, white, sand and mineral blue. In contrast to these 'fairly basic' colours, the 'Vermilion' is a very bold colour.
Perhaps this is a very good choice - after all, Kanye's original Red October Nike Air Yeezy 2 drop from 2014 was a huge success. This could happen again now with the adidas Yeezy's. In addition, the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner is one of the most provocative slip-ons of this era. The runners conquered the shoe world because of their prehistoric look and comparison with crocs. In addition, the shoe is partly made of recycled algae.
The Yeezy Foam Runner
The Yeezy Foam Runner was designed by artist and creative Kanye West. The runner was first seen on the feet of North West in 2019. This silhouette immediately set the sneaker world abuzz with its strong resemblance to the Croc. They made their official public debut on June 26, 2020 via a surprise drop exclusively on Yeezy Supply.
The Yeezy has no laces and has an otherworldly look, whose rough backing reminds us of the adidas Yeezy 700. In terms of material, they are partly made of algae. This was a decision that stemmed from Kanye West's desire to make more sustainable products. In addition, the shoe has EVA foam, which makes the sneakers run great.
