ASICS is expanding its SportStyle line with the ASICS GEL-TRANSCEND FJ. The new model draws on the brand's outdoor walking archives and arrives in two colorways. The ASICS GEL-TRANSCEND FJ is expected to hit stores from 25 September 2026.

The foundation comes from the trail world. ASICS builds the sneaker on the tooling of the GEL-FUJITRABUCO, a trail runner that has been in the line-up for years. You can see it in the rugged rubber outsole with pronounced lugs and in the GEL cushioning in the sole.

The upper, by contrast, looks more refined. Retailers describe a mix of leather and brushed suede, finished with perforations, accent stitching and metal eyelets. Rugged, but not technical.

The silhouette stays low and compact. Graphite Grey appears in both colorways, giving the two versions a shared base. That makes the model just as easy to wear on a hiking trail as with jeans or cargo trousers in the city.
Two earthy colorways
At the moment you can choose between two versions of the ASICS GEL-TRANSCEND FJ. The Black Coffee/Graphite Grey (1203B050-200) pairs dark brown with grey accents. The Ash Green/Graphite Grey (1203B050-300) puts a muted green tone front and centre. Both stay close to the natural colour palettes you know from the outdoor world.
