The 'Squid Game' South Koren actress Hoyeon Jung has become extremely popular in a short space of time. Now she's also making an appearance in the new adicolor campaign at adidas.

Netflix released the series 'Squid Game' on 17 September 2021. This South Korean series is about a survival game in which citizens risk their lives for 46 million won (33 million euros). Actress Hoyeon Jung is one of these participants and plays Kang Sae-byeok. In the series, her character is also referred to as 067, the number of her tracksuit.
Netflix began its collaboration with director Hwang Dong-hyuk two years ago, and within no time the series became a worldwide success.
Hoyeon Jung's Career
Since the series was released, Hoyeon Jung has received a lot of online attention. For example, the star gained 15 million Instagram followers in three weeks. Hoyeon was already known to some through her career as a model. For example, she finished second in the fourth season of 'Korea's Next Top Model'.
Since the arrival of the hit series 'Squid Game', Hoyeon has also become very well-known in countries outside North Korea. She signed with Louis Vuitton in 2021 and is now a Global Ambassador for the high-end brand. On 6 October 2021, Hoyeon announced that she will also appear in the new adicolor campaign of adidas.
She posted an Instagram message in which she can be seen in an adidas jumpsuit with the adicolor logo underneath.

In 2006, adidas introduced the adicolor 'Color Series'. In this collection, adidas worked together with artists like Jeremy Scott and Keith Haring. Vibrant and cheerful colours were central in the 'Color Series'. The three stripes could also be found on the models.
The items in the adicolor collection are timeless and often share the same design. The three stripes are central and the outfits have the well-known adidas colours. Think of the blue colour 'Bluebird'. The new adicolor collection also features more subdued colours. The tracksuits have beige and khaki colours and there are velour variants.

In the latest adicolor collection, the South Korean actress can be seen in a denim-inspired tracksuit. This tracksuit also features the three stripes stitched on the sleeves and legs. The adidas Trefoil logo is the logo of the adicolor collection and also appears on the denim tracksuit.
The actress can also be seen in a turquoise-coloured jumper. The colours in this collection are reminiscent of the 'Squid Game' series. Throughout the series, the contestants are seen wearing teal-coloured tracksuits, including Hoyeon.
The actress can also be seen wearing a dark green adicolor tracksuit. Thus, the Korean Instagram account shared a snippet of the upcoming collection featuring Hoyeon on October 8, 2021.
