Action Bronson’s Next New Balance Collab Is Just as Colorful as His Previous Ones

In my opinion, there hasn’t been a collaboration in recent times responsible for as many strong releases as the link-up between New Balance and Action Bronson. The partnership that began in 2023 has already yielded significant results, including the New Balance 990v6 ‘Baklava’ and the 990v6 ‘Ainôzama’, which were released this past spring.

Now, we’re seeing the next collaboration on the artist’s own feet.

Earlier this year, Bronson already showcased another New Balance 992 colorway, primarily in brown. Later, it was revealed that this sneaker, named ‘Tiger Eye’, would have a sibling: the ‘Digitalis Purpurea’.

This bright pink colorway was first spotted on Bronson’s feet during the premiere of the film Caught Stealing in New York City. The sneaker features a beige upper made of sturdy mesh, with pink suede overlays running across the entire silhouette. Dark green accents on the heel create a striking contrast with the bright pink upper.

The Baklava logo is placed on the heel, referencing Action Bronson’s own label. On the tongue, you’ll find the New Balance Made in USA label, and the iconic italicized ‘N’ is on the mid-panel.

Shortly after the premiere, photos circulated, the rapper and chef shared the first official images of the sneaker on his own Instagram with the teasing caption “coming up next.” At this time, the release date for the sneaker(s) has not yet been announced.
