History
Growing up in the 1990s, Rendi Aditia came in constant contact with luxury goods, mainly through his mother and older brother, both of whom wore unique and high-end clothing, but also through the corner shop window of luxury shop de Bijenkorf when he worked in a luxury shoe boutique. To recreate that indescribable feeling of being surrounded by luxury, Aditia founded Mason Garments in Amsterdam in 2012, a high-end luxury shoe label that creates shoes that reflect Aditia's style and personality.
Sneaker design
In its early years, Mason Garments gained recognition within the sneaker community for its minimalist yet bold designs. The brand's iconic emblem, a gold-tipped aglet, became a signature element featured on their sneakers. This attention to detail and commitment to quality quickly established Mason Garments as a sought-after luxury sneaker brand.
The shoes consist of only the finest Italian materials, and are made from full-grain calfskin that's tanned by the best tanneries in Italy. Moreover, the upper is based on a tub sole from the factory in Italy. The insole and lining are sewn directly into the upper leather, in a technique known as 'Sacchetto'. In this technique, the inner shoe is made from a kind of leather moccasin, which wraps the foot like a glove.
With the expansion of Mason Garments' product line, the brand now offers a variety of sneaker models catering to a variety of styles and preferences, such as the Mason Garments Tia, Firenze, Genova, and Torino.
