Emerica Sneakers
Launched in 1996 by French World Champion freestyle skateboarder Pierre André Senizergues, Emerica is a skater-owned brand for skateboarders, and was named after its parent shoe brand Etnies America (E + merica).
The brand sponsors a team of skateboarders including Leo Romero, Kevin Long, Justin Figueroa, Collin Provost and Jeremy Leabres, and has produced many videos such as 1997’s Yellow, 2003’s This Is Skateboarding, 2010’s Stay Gold and the recent MADE series.
Part of Sole Technology Inc, alongside Etnies and éS, Emerica is devoted solely to skateboarding. Emerica’s flexible vulcanised models are created to withstand serious skateboarding abuse, while also providing a comfortable fit and straightforward design.
Popular models include the Wino G6, Romero, Dickson and Gamma.
Generally, Emerica sneakers do run true to size.
